Felicia- Yellow Series

Felicia is one if my senior reps this year! She is seriously so bright and bubbly; this shoot could not have fit her better. The vision for this shoot was color blocking with yellow and black. I wanted to incorporate as much yellow as I could, so we found a few yellow walls and bought a bouquet of flowers and we were on our way!

This was downtown Boise, Idaho, and there actually was an initiative to spread kindness. The Jump building has different things going on each month that they promote which is awesome! So by the time we made it to the shoot, they had huge hearts for Valentine’s Day. The week before there were these huge smiley faces in this lawn down the road blown up that I wanted to shoot by and they took them down...Sad day... But, with google maps I was able to find these gems!!!! Success!

As for the shoot, it was a freezing 45-50 degrees . You wouldn't know it by looking at these photos right? She seriously was a Rockstar you guys! I could not be happier with how these turned out! So fun and just what we needed in the gloomy months of February.

It just goes to show that even when your plan A doesn’t work, go with the flow! Either have a plan B or think on your feet. And what’s funny is I found the first yellow wall and on the way there I drove past the yellow staircase. It was literally one block away! The stars aligned that day for us. And honestly, I think these turned out wayyy better than they would have with the original plan! Let me know if you have ever had something like this happen to you and what you did to overcome it!
